My Setting

At Charly’s Little Munchkins your child will be cared for in a home from home environment

.

Home-based childcare

I live in a five bedroom detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac very close to town meaning most things are only a short walk away. I have a fully enclosed garden with a mud kitchen and a garden shed full of all sorts of outside toys and activities.
I love children to be outdoors as much as possible, exploring and learning in all weather conditions.

Activities and play

On a daily basis I encourage lots of craft and sensory activities based around set monthly topics. All resources at my setting are checked and cleaned regularly to ensure your child’s health and safety.

Daily activities will include mark making, singing/nursery rhymes, group story time, playing in the garden and help cooking/preparing snacks with my supervision.

Healthy eating

I encourage all children to eat healthy food every day. All food I cook and prepare will be healthy and fresh, including fresh fruit and vegetables as part of their 5-a-day.

All the meals are home made.

MEALS

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are charged separately, and all meals are home made and cooked using fresh ingredients.

Please inform me if your child has any special dietary requirements or allergies.

Please refer to my fees policy for more information.

ITEMS TO PROVIDE

It’s important that children wear suitable clothing whilst in my care, i.e. wellies, scarf and waterproofs for the Winter, or sunhats and sun cream for the Summer.

Please consider when dropping off your children that you provide sufficient nappies, wipes, formula and/or breast milk (this will be stored following the correct guidelines).

A change of clothes for each session is also required as well as clean bedding.

Spare comforters can be held here at the setting if needed.
