Home-based childcare in Grantham

Hello!

My name is Charly Howitt. I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Grantham with 2 full time Ofsted registered assistants that work with me daily.

I am a Gold member with Childcare.co.uk, hold Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates and full Public Liability insurance.

My assistants and I hold full and up to date DBS certificates and are trained in Safeguarding Children.

I married my husband in 2008, in 2009 we had our daughter and in 2012 our son.

Aside from my family, my two passions in life are children and dentistry. Unfortunately the dental qualifications I obtained over an 8 year period in Australia were not recognised in the UK when I moved back in 2007. I was therefore unable to carry on with my career as a dental nurse, where I specialised in Oral Surgery and Children’s Orthodontics.
 
In 2015 I made the decision to start my own childminding business. In the July I officially qualified as a Childminder and in the September the doors to
Charly's Little Munchkins officially opened! 

Being a mother myself I recognise how important it is to have a calm, friendly and family oriented environment for children to live and play in. I aim to provide lots of fun and exciting activities for the children in my care to encourage and nurture their development.
